Godzilla

Godzilla was getting pissed off. He was trying to communicate with these people and they just would not get it. He had tried everything in his power, but nothing seemed to work.

It wasn't such a big thing but he felt he was owed a bit more. They considered him some kind of hero, but he brushed that aside. There were more important things to consider.

Helping them out for years and years, he considered. Always appearing on time and saving the day. If anyone could save them it was Godzilla. Well he'd had enough. He was going to go on strike and next time Mothra or one of those other feeble monsters appeared, he'd let them get on with it. That would show them who's boss.

The enemy was coming down the corridor now. As he came closer he could see the sharpness in his eyes. They were all like that. So pompous, so full of themselves, so right. Well he'd better have something good to say or it would be back to the sea and "See you baby!"

"OK. You've got your raise. Can we get back to work now?"

With a smile Godzilla stepped back onto the set and with each fiery breath he looked forward to next week in Las Vegas
